We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key finance and accounting functions, including cash flow management, general accounting, audit and compliance, and financial reporting. As we continue to grow, the accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, collaborating with operations, finance, and external auditors to support business growth and process improvements.

What You’ll Do:
- Cash Flow Management – Reconcile cash transactions, verify deposits, set up bank accounts, ensure accurate settlements transactions, and set up and document distribution payments while liaising with Operations team and bank.
- General Accounting – Maintain accurate financial records by posting journal entries, managing inventory actualization, manage settlements recording, and performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Audit & Compliance – Support audits by gathering data, responding to inquiries, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis – Generate financial reports, review inventory data, and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests to support business decision-making.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 0-3 years of accounting experience required
- Full cycle accounting experience preferred
- Oil and gas experience preferred
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Knowledge of general accounting practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to get results and resolve customer needs
- Ability to investigate and find the root cause of issues and follow through with corrective actions
- Comfortable demanding excellence in self and team to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities quickly
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm and passion for the role and the market
- Ability to adapt to technological innovations and incorporating into company processes
